JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent and promote Ravenna Homes’ products with developers and through networking at organizations related to the homebuilding industry
  • Pursue and manage new lot purchase opportunities in master-planned communities
  • Conduct and analyze market research on areas for potential development
  • Analyze, negotiate and manage lot purchase agreements
  • Research and analyze feasibility studies of finished lot opportunities and raw land for future development
  • Participate in site selection, underwriting and due diligence for lot and land opportunties

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS [required]

  • 10+ years of experience with brokering land/lot acquisitions for single family homes
  • Must have strong, positive relationships with local residential developers
  • Ambitious with strong negotiating and closing skills.
  • Ability to think quickly and come up with effective solutions to problems or objections
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in person and through email
  • Thorough understanding mathematical and financial principles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel throughout the greater Houston area
